Home · Willamette Valley wineries · Willamette Valley Vineyards Estate Tasting Room
The Turner Estate is the flagship Willamette Valley Vineyards destination and should be treated differently from the company's satellite tasting rooms. It sits on a hillside south of Salem with vineyard views, a large hospitality complex and a full food program, giving visitors a much more complete winery experience than a simple urban tasting bar.
Tableside tastings introduce the winery's broad Oregon portfolio, especially Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and sparkling wine. Because Willamette Valley Vineyards operates at a larger scale than many boutique producers, the visit is useful for travelers who want to see how a major regional brand translates into estate hospitality. The winery also offers limited/single-vineyard wines that may be less familiar than its retail labels.
Food is one of the property's strengths. Guests can combine tasting with lunch or dinner, and onsite suites make the Estate a destination for travelers who want to stay in wine country rather than drive back to Portland.
